It is with heavy hearts that we announce the official cancellation of Milton Porchfest 2026, scheduled for this Saturday, September 26.

Weather forecasts for the incoming Nor'easter have deteriorated drastically. The National Weather Service has issued High Wind and Coastal Flood Watches across our area, with localized forecasts for Milton calling for sustained heavy rain, street flooding, and damaging wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph. Because these conditions bring an elevated risk of falling tree limbs, airborne debris, downed wires, power outages, and significant hazards to outdoor electrical gear, we cannot proceed and compromise your safety. Our small volunteer team begins organizing in February- delegating tasks, designing artwork, managing vendor partnerships, and coordinating a schedule across 22 host porches and more than 70 musical acts. Because of the extensive logistics required to run an event of this magnitude safely, rescheduling the official festival as a whole is unfortunately not possible.

We appreciate everyone who has volunteered to play and to host and are so sorry to have to cancel the party. We hope to see everyone again next year!
